Dundee man charged with first-degree murder granted time to find lawyer

A Dundee man facing a first-degree murder charge in the death of his spouse will have his preliminary inquiry set later this month.

56 year old Gilles Moreau of Dundee was arrested on Saturday after police conducted a well-being check on a woman who lived in the community near Campbellton.

On Tuesday, a judge granted Moreau time to find a lawyer.

Police have still not located 54 year old Brigitte Pelletier, however police say their investigation has led them to the first-degree murder charge.

Moreau returns to court August 13th.
