Eel River Bar man accused of striking letter carrier with vehicle elects trial by judge and jury
An Eel River Bar man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of dangerous driving causing bodily harm after allegedly hitting a letter carrier with his vehicle in Campbellton in November.
45 year old Michael Claude MacGarvie also charged with driving with a suspended license and has elected to be tried by judge and jury.
MacGarvie's lawyer entered not guilty pleas on his behalf on both charges on Monday.
MacGarvie has been in custody since his arrest and returns to court February 28th.
A court-ordered publication ban is in place.
