Environment Canada predicts a mixed bag of weather for Chaleur region

It looks like Mother Nature has a mixed bag of weather in store for the Chaleur region for the next few days.

A special weather statement from Environment Canada says we can expect a mixture of snow and ice pellets the night of Tuesday, March 7th, that will change over to freezing rain overnight.

The department says freezing rain will persist for several hours before changing to rain on Wednesday.

It says confidence for a prolonged period of freezing rain is increasing, especially for regions of central and northern New Brunswick.
