Environment Canada warns of heavy snowfall for Chaleur region
Get your snow blower and shovels ready because Environment Canada says we're in for some nasty weather.
A snowfall warning for the Chaleur region suggests a low pressure system is expected to reach our area around noon today, bringing with an estimated 15 to 20 centimetres of snow.
Snow is expected to continue into Friday, ahead of a second system expected to continue into Saturday.
The department says heavy snow may load branches and electrical lines, possibly causing local power disruptions.
