Federal employees in N.B. hit hardest by Phoenix pay system fiasco
The Federal Goverment's Phoenix pay system fiasco has hit New Brunswick the hardest.
According to the latest data, erroneous or missing pay cheques have affected 14 out of every 15 federal public servants working in this province.
That's 94 per cent of 8,350 federal employees in New Brunswick.
The Phoenix fiasco has affected over 193 thousand public servants across the country, an even higher number than the 150,000 estimated by auditor general Michael Ferguson in November.
