Federal government invests in Charlo Airport

The Charlo Airport is getting more than half-a-million dollars from Ottawa to help purchase equipment.

Madawaska-Restigouche MP Rene Arsneault a $669,750.00 federal investment that will be used to purchase a snowplow truck, a snowblower, a runway friction tester, and a dry material spreader.

Stephanie Clark, the airport's chief executive officer, says Charlo has one of the oldest fleets in country, with most of it dating back to the 1980's.
