Federal government invests in NB potato chip company
The federal government is investing $437,500 to boost productivity and increase export capacity at the Covered Bridge Potato Chip Company.
A news release from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) says the Waterville company is also expected to create up to 14 new jobs.
ACOA says the funding will help accommodate the growing demand for the company's products, including a new line of popcorn.
This project marks Phase 2 of a 9,000 square foot expansion announced in January.
