Fewer moose harvested during 2018 hunt

The preliminary numbers are in from the 2018 Moose Hunt in New Brunswick.

According to the province, 3,528 moose were bagged during the five-day hunt.

That is 289 fewer moose registered than last season.

1,000 moose  were registered on the first day of the hunt, which ran from September 25 to 29.

The drop could be partly linked to fewer available licenses this year.
