First phase of investigation into toxic work environment allegations at CCNB yields recommendations

Several recommendations have been made as a Quebec firm wraps up the first phase of its investigation into allegations of a toxic work environment at CCNB.

The recommendations including implementing a series of workshops to teach senior staff how to reduce tensions as well as forming a committee to ensure recommendation are implemented.

A report from the firm suggests troubles began when CCNB's five campuses were consolidated under a single entity in 2010.

The investigation stems from complaints from several of CCNB's senior staff in January.

The second phase of the investigation is expected to get underway in November.
