Five year sentence for Bathurst man involved in violent Miramichi-area home invasion
A Bathurst man has been sentenced to five years behind bars for his part in a violent home invasion in the Miramichi area last November.
20 Nicholas Hache-Lagace pleaded guilty to robbery with a weapon, break and enter to commit theft and obstructing police back in January.
The charges stem from an incident in November when he broke into a home to steal marijuana plants and sprayed one of the occupants with bear mace.
He's also prohibited from possessing firearms and is ordered to provide a DNA sample.
