Forensic investigator testifies at Moncton murder trial of Marissa Shephard

The murder trial of a 22-year-old Moncton, New Brunswick woman has heard the teenage victim was found dead in a burned home with ``numerous injuries.''

An R-C-M-P forensic investigator testified yesterday at the trial of Marissa Shephard, in the murder of 18-year-old Baylee Wylie of Moncton.

Corporal Patrick Gould told the jury he gathered evidence at a fire-charred house in a Moncton suburb in December 2015.

Wylie's body was found by firefighters in a burned-out triplex, where he had been tied to a chair, beaten and stabbed more than 100 times.
