Former Acadie-Bathurst Titan forward to play defense for Moncton Wildcats
Former Acadie-Bathurst Titan forward Daniil Miromanov is back in New Brunswick.
The Acadie-Nouvelle reports Miromanov was unhappy with his spot on team Sochi in the KHL and is expected to lace up for the Moncton Wildcats Thursday when they face the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.
Wildcats' Director of Hockey Operations, Roger Shannon, says the 20 year old QMJHL veteran will likely play as a defenseman at Miromanov's own request.
Miromanov scored 104 points in 132 Q-League games.
