Former Acadie-Bathurst Titan netminder ranked among 'Top 50 Players in QMJHL History'

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League has unveiled another part of its 'Top 50 Players in QMJHL History' list as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.

Florida Panthers netminder Roberto Luongo came in at Number 25 on the list.

Luongo was traded from Val-d'Or to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in 1998.

The list is based solely on the players' contributions during their junior years.

The 20 - 11 rankings are scheduled to be announced on March 23rd, while the top ten are expected on April 3rd.

The league says 9,511 players played in the QMJHL over the past 50 years.
