Former MP to take a run at provincial politics in Campbellton-Dalhousie riding
Former Dalhousie MP Guy Arseneault says he'll seek the provincial Liberal nomination for the Campbellton-Dalhousie riding.
The riding has been without an MLA since November, when Donald Arseneault quit after taking a job in the private sector.
Premier Brian Gallant is still undecided as to weather he'll call a byelection ahead of next September's provincial election and says he wants to continue consulting with constituents.
Arseneault says he's for a byelection, adding the riding is entitled to fair representation in the Legislature as soon as possible.
