Fourth annual Nepisiguit Challenge sells out in hours
The popularity of the annual Nepisiguit Challenge wilderness race continues to grow.
It took about a day for competitor spots to sell out last year, and a little under two weeks the year before.
This year it was only a matter of hours before all the spots were snatched up.
Recreation Programmer, Ryan Wilbur tells the Northern Light it speaks to the quality of the two-day event and that organizers are hoping it lives up to the expectations of being a 'top-notch experience'.
The gets underway at Sugarloaf Provincial Park on October 12th and wraps up in Bathurst on the 13th.
