French for the Future hosts local forum for students in Fredericton

Some 300 students from across the province will be in Fredericton on Tuesday to learn about the advantages of bilingualism in Canada.

The not-for-profit organization French for the Future is organizing a local forum at the Sainte-Anne Community Centre.

Organizers say interactive workships will give students a chance to practice their French outside the classroom and to discover the advantages that bilingualism has to offer.

Students from more than 20 schools across the province are taking part in the day-long event.
