Friends and family chip in more cash to help find missing Moncton woman

(CP) - Friends and family of a missing New Brunswick woman have added more money to a reward being offered for information in the case.

Twenty-eight-year-old Jami Springer of Moncton was last seen on August 31st, 2016, and Crime Stoppers has been offering up to two-thousand dollars for information.

The R-C-M-P's Major Crime Unit is investigating her disappearance as suspicious, and with another 10-thousand dollars raised by those close to her, the reward has reached 12-thousand dollars.

Springer's family has also been posting pictures of her on social media in the hopes that someone will recognize her.
