Head coach: discipline top priority for Acadie-Bathurst Titan heading into QMJHL finals
Discipline is top priority for the Acadie-Bathurst Titan heading into Game 1 of the QMJHL finals against the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.
Head coach Mario Pouliot says the Armada is a hard-working team and that the Titan will need to focus on both defense and offense, generate traffic in front of their opponent's net, and grab rebounds.
The best-of-seven will see the return of forward Mitchell Balmas, who's been out the last three games after suffering a hard hit into the boards.
Both teams wrapped up the regular season at the top of their respective divisions.
Games 1 and 2 of the best-of-seven final series go in Boisbriand, Quebec Friday and Saturday.
The series shifts to the KC Irving Centre in Bathurst next week for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The winning team will lace up for the QMJHL in the coveted Memorial Cup later this month in Saskatchewan.
