Innovation Voucher tour to make stop in Bathurst in February

The New Brunswick Innovation Foundation will make a stop in Bathurst next month to talk about a program aimed at developing new ideas and products.

The Innovation Voucher program gives existing and would-be entrepreneurs access to scientists and engineers as well as an up to $80,000 grant to cover up to 80 per cent of project development costs.

Greater Bathurst Chamber of Commerce Manager Mitch Poirier says the program is a huge boost to any start-up or existing company looking to develop new products.

He says it's a win-win situation because it allows industry to work in conjunction with scientists, universities and students.

The session takes place Thursday, February 9th at the OpportunitiesNB office in Bathurst.
