Investigation alleges Lameque teen responsible for fatal accident near Bertrand
An RCMP investigation has revealed a Lameque teen may have been responsible for a deadly motor vehicle accident near Bertrand in July.
Two people, ages 57 and 72 died in the collision while a couple and child in another vehicle sustained seriously injuries.
Police say the youth was driving his father's car and left the scene the night of the tragedy.
The car was later found burned in a gravel pit between Bertrand and Paquetville.
Prosecutors are reviewing the file and the youth's first court appearance is expected sometime in the the early new year.
