Investment from O.N.B. to help create 300 new jobs in northern N.B. over next four years
The provincial government is helping HGS Canada create hundreds of new jobs over the next four years in Northern New Brunswick.
HGS Canada's VP of operations Ross Duff says the 300 work-from-home positions will allow employees to undertake every aspect of their work on-line; from application and training to shift-scheduling and customer support.
The company will receive up to $1.19 million from Opportunities New Brunswick in the form of payroll rebates.
Bathurst-West-Beresford MLA Brian Kenny says the home-based work means New Brunswickers can exercise their skills and earn a living, while supporting communities and families.
The new jobs are projected to contribute $34.2 million towards New Brunswick's GDP over four years while generating $3.6 million in tax revenues.
