Loss streak extends to six as Acadie-Bathurst Titan drops road game to Shawinigan
It was a rough trip to Shawinigan for the rebuilding Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Thursday night.
The Titan lead 3 - 2 at the end of the second period but a pair of goals in the third saw the Cataractes emerge as the victors.
William Champagne, Anderson MacDonald, and Mathieu Desgagnes each found the back of the Cataractes' net once while netminder Mark Grametbauer stopped 36 shots.
The loss extends the Titan's loss streak to six games, leaving the 2018 President and Memorial Cup champion club at the bottom of the QMJHL standings, six points behind the Saint John Sea Dogs.
The Titan will have a pair of opportunities to turn things around this weekend.
They're in Drummondville against the Voltigeurs on the road on Friday night, then travel to Gatineau to take on the Olympiques on Saturday.
QMJHL action returns to the KC Irving Centre in Bathurst on Tuesday when the Titan hosts the Halifax Mooseheads.
