Man arrested for impaired driving following crash in Moncton

The Codiac Regional RCMP say they have arrested a man following a single-vehicle accident in Moncton.

Officers responded to the crash on Ensley Drive around 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday.

RCMP say they believe the crash happened when the driver, a 25-year-old man from Moncton, lost control which caused the vehicle to flip and come to rest in a ditch.

Police say when they arrived, they arrested the driver for impaired driving and transported him and a 43-year-old female passenger to hospital.

The investigation is ongoing and no other details have been released.
