Man charged in connection with altercation that sent three to hospital
The RCMP say a 31-year-old man from Memramcook has been charged with assault causing bodily harm in connection with an altercation in Moncton earlier this week.
Officers responded to a residence on Whitney Avenue in Moncton around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, and when they arrived they found three men in the vicinity of Whitney Avenue and Argyle Street who had been injured.
Police say the three were taken to hospital while a fourth man was seen fleeing from the scene.
RCMP say two of the men have since been released from hospital and one of them was taken into police custody, while the third remains in hospital and police are still searching for the man who fled.
Joshua Belliveau appeared in court in Moncton yesterday and was remanded into custody until his bail hearing on February 8th.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and they are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
