Man pleads guilty to second-degree murder, arson in death of Baylee Wylie
A 19-year-old man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and arson in the brutal killing of an 18-year-old man whose body was found in the burned out unit of a triplex in Moncton, N.B.
Tyler Noel had been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Baylee Wylie, who was severely beaten while tied to a chair and stabbed up to 200 times in Dec. 2015.
A sentencing hearing has been set for July.
Devin Morningstar, 19, was convicted last year of first-degree murder and arson in Wylie's death while a third accused, Marissa Shephard, has waived her right to a preliminary inquiry and will proceed directly to trial on the same charges.
