Man sentenced following seizure of drugs, firearms in Moncton

The RCMP say a 28-year-old man from Moncton has been sentenced to two years and three months in prison after pleading guilty to drug and firearms charges.

Logan Furlong pleaded guilty on February 14th to possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine and marijuana, production of a Schedule II substance, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and four counts of unsafe storage of a firearm.

Codiac Regional RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Galbraith Crescent on September 7th.

Officers seized six firearms, contraband cigarettes, a portable hash oil extractor, as well as cocaine and marijuana.

Thirty-four-year-old Martine Vautour also faces 13 charges in connection with the seizure and is scheduled to court to enter a plea on March 21st.
