Miramichi man pleads not guilty to communicating with person under the age of 16

(CP) - A 26-year-old New Brunswick man will face trial next month after pleading not guilty to failing to comply with conditions that he not communicate with persons under the age of 16.

R-C-M-P say they began an investigation last month after receiving a complaint from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

It's alleged that the Miramichi man was breaching his conditions by communicating with a youth from the United States.

Mounties say Timothy Robichaud appeared in Miramichi provincial court on Wednesday, March 21st, and will remain in custody until his trial on April 19th.
