More waterfront campsites for Dalhousie Marina
There will be more spots for campers to park their RVs at the Dalhousie Marina this summer.
President Marc Arseneau tells the Tribune the number of waterfront sites are being increased from 10 to approximately 40.
Sewers were put in last year and Arseneau says water and electricity work should be completed before opening day.
But there's still a bit of work to be done at the site.
Arseneau says dredging still needs to be done, noting it's troublesome for larger boats to get in and out at low tide.
Though there has been no success in getting federal or provincial funding for dredging, Arseneau says his group will keep trying to secure the money.
