Municipal Capital Borrowing Board gives thumbs up for new fire hall in Grande-Anse
New digs are on the way for Grande-Anse's fire department.
The Municipal Capital Borrowing Board recently accepted the village's $800,000 loan application for a new fire hall.
The project will be partially funded by the New Brunswick government.
The current 50 year old building will be demolished to make way for the new one and will include office space, a meeting room, and an area to wash equipment.
Construction is expected to begin in the spring.
