N.B. government invests $3.3M in Acadian Peninsula school
The provincial government is investing $3.3 million dollars to help modernize a school on the Acadian Peninsula.
The money, announced by the province on Monday, will be used to renovate trade shops at the Polyvalente W.-A. Losier school in Tracadie, as well as build an addition to house the school district's office.
The approximately $17.6 million project began in 2015 and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2020.
Tracadie-Sheila MLA Serge Rousselle says the project is expected to extend the school's life by 30 years and help students develop their full potential.
