N.B. motorists asked to 'Watch for Wildlife'

The Watch for Wildlife program is asking drivers in New Brunswick to take extra care to avoid collisions with wildlife over the Thanksgiving long weekend and into the weeks that follow.
Watch for Wildlife's Outreach Coordinator for New Brunswick says the annual fall rut for deer and moose is happening, so these animals are on the move looking for mates.

As a result, they are crossing more roads and highways.
The program offers up safe driving tips, scanning ahead and looking for movement or shining eyes on the sides of the road, follow speed limits and slow down if you do see an animal on or  near the road.
