N.B.T.A. president angry $4 million for mental health went unspent
News that millions of dollars earmarked for mental health services went unspent is not sitting well with the president of the New Brunswick Teachers' Association.
Last week Health Minister Ted Flemming told the Legislature his department was unable to find anybody to deliver treatment so $4 million designated for mental health services last year went unspent.
NBTA president George Daley tells the Daily Gleaner that's left him feeling frustrated and borderline angry and that anyone with a child waiting for help should feel the same.
A lack of mental health professionals in the province's school system is an issue Daley has been raising for quite some time.
