N.B. to release social media guide for farmers, fishermen, other food producers

New Brunswick is releasing a new guidebook to help farmers, fishermen and other food producers promote their products online.

The Social Media Toolkit is meant to teach producers how to market their business on social media platforms.

The 28-page guide shows farmers how to use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn.

The provincial government says the book includes information on gaining an audience, how to use hashtags and how to manage troublesome users.
