N.B. veterinarians vote to end operations to declaw cats
Veterinarians in New Brunswick are being told by their professional association to end operations to declaw cats as of this summer.
Veterinarians and their clinics noted the development on Facebook postings this weekend.
The decision came as a result of a vote by the New Brunswick Veterinary Medical Association in Moncton on Saturday.
Nova Scotia, PEI and Newfoundland have already banned the declawing of cats in provincial legislation.
