NB aims to better tailor programs, services to reflect needs of region
The New Brunswick government wants to better tailor its programs and services to reflect the needs and realities of the region.
That's why over the coming weeks it will be conducting a comprehensive research study around the labour challenges many of the region's employers are facing, particular in seasonal industries and employers impacted by the seasonal nature of the local economy.
The study includes a telephone survey for local businesses.
The province's Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour says seasonal industries and seasonal employers are important and significant contributors to the economy.
