NB Liquor sales up in first quarter over last year
NB Liquor reports its total sales for the first quarter ending June 30 were 13.7% higher than in the first quarter of 2018.
A release says sales totaled $109.9 million, with increases in all four areas of wine, spirit, beer and ciders and coolers.
NB Liquor says sales increased as follows:
- wine sales increased 13.7%, up $3.0 million;
- spirit sales increased 14.7% up $3.1 million;
- beer sales increased 10.5%, up $4.9 million;
- sales of ciders and coolers increased 31.4%, up $2.3 million;
ANBL is a provincial Crown corporation responsible for the purchase, importation, distribution and retail activity for all alcoholic beverages in the province.
