NB Power customers have options to manage winter power bills

New Brunswick Power is reminding customers who are having difficulty paying their power bills that there are several options available to help this winter.

The utility says it is important for customers who are struggling to financially at this time of year to maintain contact with them to avoid a service disruption, and is inviting customers who are having trouble keeping up with bill payments to call the NB Power contact centre.

The power company says its agents have the flexibility to make payment arrangements based on individual circumstances, and the utility can alSo refer customers to agencies that can help.

New Brunswick Power says the Total Home Energy Savings Program, the Low-Income Program, the Commercial building Retrofits Program, and the Small Business Lighting Program are among the programs available to customers who wish to control their bills and reduce their energy use.
