NB scores high on social performance report card

New Brunswick is top ranked among all the provinces in a report on social performance from the Conference Board of Canada.

The province earned a 'B' grade in the report, which looked at factors including income inequality, poverty and social cohesion.

Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador all got 'C' grades on the society report card, putting them close to the bottom of the rankings.

Canada gets a 'B' grade overall and ranks 10th among 16 countries.
