Nearly 90 mountain-bikers compete in 'XCO Bathurst' race

Nearly 90 mountain-bikers from across the province competed in Mountain & Fat Bike Chaleur's 'XCO Bathurst' race over the weekend.

Around 300 spectators turned out to watch the 89 participants zip around the approximately 3.5 kilometre track on Saint Anne Street in Bathurst on Sunday.

Local riders Jolene Doucet and Laurence Arseneau finished second and third respectively in the under 15 category.
