New Brunswick political leaders to hold first campaign debate this evening

New Brunswick voters get a chance to compare the leaders' positions this evening in the first of a series of debates.

The party leaders will square off in a 90-minute debate in Riverview that will be broadcast by the CBC.

Liberal Leader Brian Gallant says he's looking for a chance to explain his vision for the province.

Progressive Conservative Leader Blaine Higgs says he wants to deal with the real issues.

Green Leader David Coon says there are important issues to be discussed and people are tired of gotcha politics.

The leaders face each other again Friday in English and French-language debates on Rogers TV.
