New Brunswick's Official Languages Commissioner announces retirement
The province's official languages commissioner has announced she's retiring.
Katherine d'Entremont was appointed commissioner back in 2013 and says she's leaving the job to pursue other opportunities.
Her retirement is effective this summer, about two years shy of her seven year mandate.
D'Entremont's office says she won't be granting any interviews until her final annual report is issued in June.
A new official languages commissioner will be appointed during the Legislative assembly's next sitting.
