New Brunswickers consider Raglan Road's debut album a top pick for 2017

The people have spoken and consider a local band's debut album as one of the best of 2017.

Raglan Road's self-titled CD cracked Music New Brunswick's 'Top 10 picks for 2017' as voted by New Brunswickers.

After several years of playing venues across Atlantic Canada, band founder and front-man Jason Martell says recording an album was the next logical step.

The album officially dropped in the Chaleur region in November and consists of much-loved traditional east coast music along with some of the band's original compositions

Band members include Martell, Gary Gosse of Bathurst, along with Corey MacDonald and Jamie Craig, both of Miramichi.
