New downtown Bathurst tap-bar aims to promote local-brewed products
If you're a lover of craft beer, listen up.
A new "vintage industrial"-themed tap-bar set to open in downtown Bathurst in the coming weeks aims promote New Brunswick-brewed liquors with its main focus on craft beers.
"Au Bootlegger" President and co-owner Michael Petrovici says he's heard from many locals who feel there just isn't enough night-life or local hangouts and expects his establishment will provide a venue of entertainment for both citizens and tourists alike.
Petrovici says "Au Bootlegger" will also feature local artisan tapas and snacks and that it's expected to provide between two and six jobs during the summer months.
The bar will be located at 100 Main Street in Bathurst in the Gloucester Building.
Downtown Bathurst Revitalization Corporation's Chris Daigle says it's exciting to see new businesses opening in the downtown area and that it shows great investment and momentum in the city.
