New website providing job-hunting tools launched ahead of CCNB-Bathurst's 3rd annual Job Fair
CCNB-Bathurst has launched a new website containing useful information for students, employers, and the public ahead of its 3rd annual Job Fair.
Coordinator Suzie Noel says the new site aims to entice potential employers to sign up as exhibitors while providing students and the public with the tools they need to search for their new career.
Noel says there are approximately 15 employers signed up for the event so far, around the same number as last year, but she's hoping to grow that to number to 30.
CCNB-Bathurst Director Paolo Fongemie says the event has grown in popularity among students and job-seekers of all ages, and that companies seeking skilled workers have become very interested in the initiative.
Student council president Raoul Guemning Kamsu says finding a job post-graduation can be a daunting task for some students and that the event could offer an opportunity to live and work in the Chaleur region.
CCNB Director Liane Roy says the college works hard to link students and employers and that this event is a shining example of a successful student-led initiative in the Chaluer region.
The job fair takes place April 25th and 26th at CCNB's Youghall Drive campus.
