After being left to scrable to find a location to hold it, the Northenn Moose have decided to cancel its summer hockey camp.

The camp had been planned for Belledune but the village's council voted to keep its arena closed and the team was unable to find a suitable location in time for the camp, which was slated for August.

Though disappointed, Northern Moose head coach Charles LeBlanc tells the Northern Light the club will approach three local communities about hosting the camp next July.

LeBlanc says more than 60 young hockey players had registered for the camp.
