Overnight fire damages Saint John apartment building
The Canadian Red Cross says at least seven people, including four children, have been displaced after an overnight fire in Saint John.
Fire crews were called to the scene at an older three-story apartment building on Kennedy Street shortly before midnight on Monday.
The Red Cross says the fire was in the kitchen of a second-story apartment, and caused smoke and water damage elsewhere in the building.
There were no injuries from the fire
Disaster volunteers helped with emergency lodging and other aid.
