P.C. brand chicken fries recalled over salmonella concerns
Concerns over the possibility of salmonella contamination has resulted in Loblaw's issuing a national recall of certain $10 bags of chicken fries.
The national recall affects PC brand chicken fries sold in 1.81 kilogram bags with UPC code '0 60249 01411 4' and a best-before date of June 22nd, 2019.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says it's investigating 433 cases of salmonella illness, including 23 cases in New Brunswick.
The CFIA says you shouldn't eat the product and that it should either be returned to where it was purchased or thrown out.
