Petit-Rocher to study modernizing its arena
The Village of Petit-Rocher is looking to modernize its arena.
Councillors voted earlier this week in favour of studying the feasibility of installing a heat recovery system.
Mayor Luc DesJardins says the system would capture heat resulting from making ice and use it to heat other buildings such as the nearby church and school.
The project would be funded in part by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities' Municipal Green Fund.
The project is expected to be presented to citizens sometime next winter.
