Plans to replace charred Bas-Caraquet church to be unveiled soon
Members of the St. Paul's Parish Management Committee got a peek at plans for a new church for the community of Bas-Caraquet earlier this week.
The historic St. Paul's Church was destroyed by fire last summer.
On Monday, committee members met with Bishop Daniel Jodoin and architects in Bathurst where the plans were revealed.
The new building is expected to cost a bit more than the $2.5 million being paid out by insurance.
The plans are expected to be unveiled to the public at a meeting in Bas-Caraquet on April 11th.
