Players need to step-up game for spot on next season's roster, says Acadie-Bathurst Titan G.M.

Players with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan need to step up their game if they want a spot on next season's roster.

The Titan are on an eleven game loosing skid and General Manager Sylvain Couturier says his veterans need to give more, especially in terms of leadership.

Couturier says players are failing to seize what he calls a golden opportunity they would not have received elsewhere in the league.

He says the club's 23 players eligible to return next season have been warned that there's not enough room for everyone and that there may be some surprises.

The Titan are in last place in QMJHL standings with 18 games to go in the regular season.
